The Consensus Management Group is a consortium of management experts with extensive hands-on consulting, facilitating and teaching experience. CMG offers a full range of custom designed and outcome focused programs, services and workshops, from strategic and business planning, human resource design and structure and governance audits, to board/staff development, association mergers, leadership development and executive search.

Dadie Perlov, CAE and Linda Shinn, MBA, CAE, CMG Principals, have served as chief staff officers of state and national associations and foundations, and have considerable experience on volunteer boards as well. Both have been selected as Fellows of the American Society of Association Executives. In 1995, they received a major grant from the ASAE Foundation for a comprehensive study of association structure, governance and culture, a field in which they are the acknowledged experts. They are award winning executives and popular public speakers, trainers and authors.

In 1988, Perlov, who directs the New York office, was named one of the 100 most important women in America, and is listed in Who's Who in America. A former member of the ASAE Foundation Board and the ASAE Board of Directors, she has also served three U.S. Presidents through work with governmental commissions on labor, continuing education and children's issues.

Shinn received an honorary doctorate from the University of Indianapolis in 1994. She has worked as a lobbyist, international consultant and as an adjunct instructor at the University of Kansas and as an adjunct lecturer at Indiana University. As director of the CMG Indianapolis area office, she also manages the CMG Personnel and Search Division and CMG Facilitation Services.
